🎉 Celebrating 3 Months of Local Farmers Hub!

We’re thrilled to share that Local Farmers Hub has officially reached the 3-month milestone! In such a short time, our community of growers, makers, and supporters has already accomplished so much together. Here are three exciting highlights we’re proud to announce:

1. Welcoming Cottage Law Bakers

Farmers markets aren’t just about fresh produce — they’re about the full spectrum of local food traditions. That’s why we’re excited to announce that Cottage Law bakers are now part of Local Farmers Hub! 🍞

These bakers create breads, pastries, and other homemade goods under state cottage food laws, which often allow direct, face-to-face sales. Walk through any farmers market and you’ll see their tables right alongside fresh vegetables, honey, and preserves. By including them on the Hub, we’re strengthening the connection between all local food producers and the communities they serve. It’s another step toward protecting and celebrating resilient local food systems.

2. Featured on YouTube by Savvy Organics

We were honored to be showcased by Savvy Organics on their YouTube channel! 🌱 In the video, we had the chance to talk about Local Farmers Hub, sustainable agriculture, and the importance of building stronger local food networks.

If you’re interested in homesteading, regenerative agriculture, or simply learning more about how to support local food producers, Savvy Organics is a fantastic resource. Their channel is packed with practical knowledge and inspiring stories. You can explore their content here: Savvy Organics YouTube Channel.

And don’t miss our feature video: Watch on YouTube.

3. Joining FARFA (Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance)

We’re also proud to announce that Local Farmers Hub is now a member of the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance (FARFA). 🌾

FARFA is a national organization that champions the rights of independent farmers, ranchers, and local food producers. Their mission aligns perfectly with ours: supporting sustainable farming practices, protecting food sovereignty, and ensuring that small-scale producers have a voice in shaping the future of agriculture.

You’ll now see the FARFA badge displayed on our site’s footer and About page — a symbol of our shared commitment to strengthening local food systems across the USA. Learn more about their work here: Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance.
