About This Farm
Brook & Rye Morning Rise is a small family homestead and cottage bakery in the Texarkana area, rooted in faith, family, and making things the old-fashioned way. We fresh-mill our grains, bake from scratch, and use simple, thoughtfully chosen ingredients whenever we can. Along with our breads, sourdough, cookies, and other baked goods, we’re growing our little homestead with a garden, seasonal produce, plants, and other homemade goods. We focus on simple, hands-on homesteading practices and growing food for our family and local community. We grow seasonally, save and compost what we can, and aim to keep our garden and homestead as natural and low-input as possible. We value fresh, wholesome food, supporting local growers, and learning to do more ourselves. As our little homestead grows, we’re continually working toward growing more of what we use and sharing the harvest with our local community.
